After Effects Question

I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but here goes...

I'm kind of new with AE and I was wondering if there is a way of applying effects from one movie to another. That is...I made one movie with all the effects that I want, but I have 3 more that I want to look the same. Is there a way to apply the same effects palette to the rest of my clips?

AE uses layers - just import the footage you want into a new layer, you might have to move key frames (effect frames) around if you clips are different lengths but that is easy, just drag them.

Basically use the file you have already created as a template and once you have imported new clips save as another file name.
