I was going through my fonts deleting the ones I never use and I must have gotten delete happy because many of my other fonts dont display properly now. I have no idea which one if any was the culprit. Has this happened to anyone else, or can someone please help me? I dont want to reinstall or format if I dont have to.

just re-download them
assuming you are running windows:
just download the fonts again, and put them in the fonts folder found in the control panel.
your basic fonts that came with windows can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/typography/...ck/default.htm

I am indeed running windows. I have installed two different fonts packs from Microsoft, not sure if the link you left is too the same one or not, but I will give it a go thanks. I will post the result. I should have said in my original post, text from fonts that no longer seem to work appears as large O's. Even a couple of my progs show this now instead of words.
