i am after a new video card and i've been looking around all over the place and reading loads of reviews, seams that geforce 4 is as good as the high end CAD workstation cards at a lot of things.
so maybe i might invest in one, but before i do does anyone have a a geforce 4 ti4600 yet?

No, actually. Still got my GeForce 3. When did the 4 comes out? How much is this one? $500?

their between £250 and £400 so i guess thats between $375 & $600
they are out actually but i've not seen any stocked in shops i can get one online with in 4 days

I can't wait to see the improvements that have been made. It's hard to believe they can get any better, but every year they find something else to make better.

the place where i work got 2 advanced copies of the GeForce 4's and they are beautiful. everything we've done with them has vastly improved.

Yea, I wish I could have one as well...I think I only have Gforce 2. Nvida released them to early tough, people still havn't recovered from buying the GF3 if they would have waited a year I think they would have been more successful.

bah. I can name three companies that broke the street date a while back. as well as some other locations online that was selling them.
and no, I don't mean the MX versions. I mean the Ti4600.

bah again i still have to wait a week for mine in the UK, i've seen some online shops with them but they were only taking pre-orders, but saying that certain companies i have seen them on their online shops for inflated prices, £340 up to £400 so that like $500 to $600 (bloody rip offs)

The MX (which is really a 3 mx, not a 4.) was released a while back. TI4600 was more recent on its release.

man where do u live in the uk? they have been out for bout a week, i seen them down at pcworld.

try all the major online shops to see if you can get one

ps i'd never buy in pcworld as the average iq of the workers is about 30 and they have all the computer know how of some outer mongolia goat farmer

thats if you try on the weekend. you might find that on weekdays they have their good technicians. its a good place for some hardware, but watford is pretty good for all the smaller things, and its close to me also, 10 minute drive.
for example, i could only get a 1ghz p3 socket 370 from watford. pcworld dont sell them no more
