Quick question: Is it possible to have Jpegs and/or another symbols scroll in sequence with a dynamic text field in the scroll bar component?

    Example Of Use:

A small news section where a picture is placed beside the corresponding news and scrolls with it.

I just got Mx like an hour ago so I haven't sat down yet to review much in it yet. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Yeah something similar to that. So far I've made everything in a movie clip, brought it to scene 1, added the scroll panel and nothing happens.

I gave the movie clip an instance and in the scroll panel properities in scroll content opition I named it to my instance I used for my movieclip.

What am I doing wrong? I hate asking but I couldn't find any real answers on the macromedia site or in the help files.

Select the movie clip in the library, click the library options menu, it's horizontal from the name of your .fla in the library. Select Linkage > Click Export for actionscript
    and give it a name.

In the scroll content box, type in the name you just gave the movie.

    Exclamation template

    estudioworks,

I absolutely love the template you are using. What i mean is... the pop-up that err.. "pops-up" when you select "Enter" from you splash page. It's not a normal IE box that hosts your flash file... Now, i've seen this done many-a-time, and yet not found out how this was done. I think it has something to do with Dreamweaver, does it not?

If you could please let me know with a small message (just so we don't disturb this forum/post), i would be very greatful!

Hahah.. what a long post for such a small requisition =-)

    Thx

    eStudio,

I hope you don't mind me chimming in as well. You seem to have a pretty good grasp on the new components.

What I have is a 3 level deep MC that i need to load in the scrollpane.

What i've done thus far... created an MC and put all my stuff in it and tried the movie and it worked.

deleted the MC off the stage but gave it a linkage name and told the scrollpane to go there as well. nothing... I have a feeling it has something to do with the scrollPane.refreshPane(); type thing, but I have no idea where to put it or anything...

I've been going at it for days now, and fianlly am where I am and just can't go anymore...

    Thanks in advnace
