sure, it can be an animation, but you MUST stick to the rules:

300x40 px footer size
no more than 15k

Ohh that sounds fun.. How do I enter? The one below would not be what I enter, lol. It was my very first 'working' animation, so I have a kind of emotion attatchment to it.

sounds like a pretty neat idea TrIzKuT

though I think we should define 'newbie' exactly for this competition, sure it could be new members but they could have years of flash knowledge for all we know, prehaps the limit should be the amount of weeks/months youve been using flash? (which we'd have to trust you on

)

Judge newbies by date registered on FlashKit. Yeah, ppl might be bulls**ting about their understanding of Flash, but what else can we go by here. Anyone reg'd in the last 3 months is a newbie.

So there's my tuppence.

If newbie includes everyone, I'm in. But I ain't making a new footer especially. Flash should be informative, not just animated. So, have I not won already here?
