Thread: close window without user alert

    Is there a way to avoid the messagge box alert which goes "the window is trying to close etc."?
    (I have a regular window which opens a pop-up and I want the opener to close afterwards. It doesn't work without the user's confirmation.)

    This comes with the browser, you can't get rid of it.

    when you trying to close the original window user have open it give the alert...

    But if you close any window you open it won't give any alert.. So perhaps you could redirect the window to a page with only the logo or something else..

    i usaly make a page with a thank you for visiting or something like that...
