Back in the day, around the time when Flashkit was celebrating 100,000 members, I joined as "Beyond_Style". I was just starting out with Flash 4 and sorely needed some help. Flashkit provided the support I needed to succeed in web development. In the process, I was able to chat with some awesome designers, hone my design/development skills , and write a tutorial for FK ("Making Text Glint", which, to my great amazement and pride, is ranked fourth by number of votes).
Now, about... a year and a half later(?), I am a successful designer, and a Flash professional. I plan to write a bunch of new tutorials and be on the boards a lot, helping newcomers with their work.
Just thought I'd make my first (new) post count. Thanks again!
