How did you become a moderator on flashkit? Are you all involved in the website yourself, or were you asked by the staff? Sorry if this is on the wrong board, there seems to be no appropreate board to post such a question.

I became a moderator by helping out wherever I could, and was asked to be one. It's more of a privelege and honour than anything else.

Not something you can just ask for...

In other words... give to the community, and it will recognize your efforts.

I, however, got Mark Fennell drunk at FlashForward, then got lots of incriminating pictures which were used as leverage (he he he)

Seriously, mods are generally recommended by other mods (I was one of several who recommended gerbick) when the need arises for more moderators. Your demonstrated skills and ability/willingness to help over a long period of time are the most likely way to be recognized for consideration as a future mod.

Of course, you could just buy your way into the secret society, but that's another topic
