"real" scrollbars

I have been unhappy with the scrollbars I have created so far... they don't behave like scrollbars we all know and love.
I checked out the vraustralia.com site you listed for site of the day and the scrollbars in that site were exactly what I need. Can anyone out there point me in the direction of a tutorial that would explain THAT type of scroll bar?

thanks for the many links. Some were quite interesting altho only the last one was close to what I was searching for. I think it would be better to describe what I am looking for as a scrollbar which has arrows, dragging scroll tab(like the last example) and, (hopehopehope) also "clickable" on the bar itself to advance the scroll... just like the "big boys".
I'll keep huntin'...
