    Hi,

I'm building a site using pixel art. Does anyone have any links to tutorials or pixal art sites? I want it to resemble that of an old super nintendo type game.

    Thanks!

one question. in photoshop, how do you set it so the brushes dont blend so much ? i'm thinking of doing some pixel art, and the idea of doing it in Paint or some low end pixely program isnt exactly my idea of fun

tried w/ indexed color .. but that limits me to 1 layer :/

make a custom pallete in photoshop. you WON'T be able to use other colors, so dithering is manual.

    in ps go:

    Image>Mode>Indexed Color

in the palette drop-down, choose: custom

you will get a window where you can create your custom pallete, save one, or load one.

i suggest, for pixel art, to work in PS with two views open:

    1. for 100% image size.
    2. for working with the pecil tool, zoomed in close.

have another RGB layered version (file) open for cut and paste operations and compositing

pixel art rocks. i like http://icontown.de
