I thought it was good but preferred Goodfellas myself.

As for the true greatest film ever, it's no contest ... Caddyshack is the runaway winner

i pretty much have a fav or each different genre.
hard to say but if two or three get in the final round I'm gonna roll with L.A.Confidential as a top fav.

Godfather is pretty good, although I can watch Shawshank Redemption and enjoy it more.

Godfather II rivals Godfather, the rarity of a sequel being better than or equal to its predecesor is so much, you got to love it. But maybe Full Metal Jacket is right up there with GoodFellas and of course Star Wars

Le Mans, You have Steve McQueen. You have no dialoge for the first 30 minutes. And you got lots of cars going real fast

Citizen Kane seems to be the agreed favorite. The Ten Commandments is the greatest story ever told(even though now every slack jaw in the U.S. thinks jewish slaves built the pyramids).

Myself to many different good movies to pick just one.

check out imdb's top250 i think that's the best indication of what real film fans like.

citizen kane certainly tops most critic's lists and is number 6 at imdb. The Godfather and the Shawshank Redemption seem to have been tussling it out for number one for the last few years.

good to see memento at number ten, an awesome, original film.

It depends on the Genre for me too.

Drama: Goodfellas, Casino, Heat, Ronin, The Professional, Mission Impossible I, Saving Private Ryan, Momento
Science Fiction: The Fifth Element, Terminator 2, The Matrix, Bladerunner

Not particularly a big fan of the Godfather Trilogy, especially the 1st and 3rd movies. The Godfather Part II was definitely a great movie.

One of the most underrated films ever.

I also think The Graduate is up there, as well as Pulp Fiction and Trainspotting.
