check out imdb's top250 i think that's the best indication of what real film fans like.

citizen kane certainly tops most critic's lists and is number 6 at imdb. The Godfather and the Shawshank Redemption seem to have been tussling it out for number one for the last few years.

good to see memento at number ten, an awesome, original film.

Momento was a seriously cool film. Should have won more awards than it did and I am glad to see the high rating at the IMDB. Very deserving.

From what I hear Citizen Kane is the greatest, but I've never seen it. The Godfather Part II is good, but I like the first one so much more. I just love when Mike kills everyone off and then lies to his wife about it. Also, conspiracies show that Frank Sinatra was involved in the mob and some people believe he was involved in the Kennedy Assassination.

matrix for me. outright philosophy in a sci-fi format, a rare combo you see among today's space-ship alien warlord stereotypic movies.

Wow... You nailed it. Except I'd have to add Silence of the Lambs, Seven, Snatch, and Falling Down to that list.

I don't know how you all can pick a favorite movie though, I have way too many favorites - just like music - I could never pick a favorite cd. I guess I have issues *lol*
