Thread: receiving email notification every time someone posts to thread

    For some reason I am receiving email notification every time someone posts to this thread, even though I am not visiting it anymore

    it just started happening.
    any ideas, as its a pretty hot thread, its getting annoying

    In your Profile, check No at the Use \'Email Notification\' by default option and now the emails should stop.

    I did for now,
    but I DO want email notification, but not every time someone posts.
    The standard emails say...

    "There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the thread"

    except this isnt true, I dont visit and I get dozens of emails still. I didnt change anything on my settings it just started doing it this morning.

    It was waiting in my inbox this morning
    I checked my profile, just to be sure, email notofication says NO. I also had several emails from the previously mentioned thread.
