Thread: Automatic movie

    Is there a way to get flash to grab all the pix in a directory on the web, then using the fade effect display a movie of the pix in that folder stepping thru each pix and holding for a second or two before fading into the next pix ?

    Yes, using Flash MX and XML. I'm working on a similiar thing with a friend.

    I believe you may have seen this example on either Macromedia, or in the Flash MX program?

    It's called flash gallery in DW4. But it's not easily modified. It doesn't have any options to use html templates, css, or use a jump table or not in the movie.

    I just want the movie with the fade from thumb to thumb. PS6 makes fine web pages.
