I look at some of these tutorials and they show this frame properties box with label,sound,actions..... that looks different from the opn I have in flash 5. what program is it from? I have only had flash 5 so I am not sure.

Could it be from a Mac instead of a PC or vice versa?

You're right, a lot of tutorials here onlfashkit.com
are made with Flash 4.. Thiscould confuse you when you
are a newbie with flash and have no idea how the little
menu's work.. but trust me, just practice a lot and try
to find it on your own. In a few weeks you will know where
they hide all the menu's.. As for the turotials, the
menu's in flash 4 aren't that much different then in
flash 5 so it shouldn't be that hard to find what you need.

You gotta watch the scripting tho - it's way different. I tried to follow a script tutorial that said it was for flash 5 (I have F5 on PC) and the code examples did not look like anything I had. Nut it out, you'll get there eventually.
