can dynamic text be rotated?

Place the dynaText in a MC and rotate the MC.

I had the same problem. I had a dynamic text box that would show the x cordinate of the mouse on the screen. I tried putting it in an MC and as soon as i would try to rotate it the number that was updateing in the text box would stop. Not sure if this is a bug or a "design feature" but it didnt work for me either way...
