Thread: Alpha tween problem

    Is anyone having problems with trying an alpha tween from 0 to 100%? The object is a dynamic text field. I even converted it to a graphic, but the alpha still isn't working. I guess I'll have to just use brightness instead. What a simple pain....

    Alpha tweeing doesn't work on textboxes if the font outline is not embedded. When you use device fonts, then the operating system takes care of rendering the text and therefore Flash cannot change its transparency.
