    HI,
    i have a flash movie and can't the concept of making it a specific size. Basically, i have a table which is 512 px wide and 146 px high. I tried making my flash movie that size in 'publish settings' but it shrunk everything very very small. is there anything that i'm missing?

    any insight is appreciated.

    In your embedding code you need to set the height and width:

    <OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,23,0"WIDTH="550" HEIGHT="400" id="myMovieName"><PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="myFlashMovie.swf"> <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>
    <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF>

    <EMBED src="myFlashMovie.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF WIDTH="550" HEIGHT="400" NAME="myMovieName" ALIGN="" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></EMBED>
    </OBJECT>

    Notice the Width & Height settings

    I had those heights and widths in my code, but let me say this. Right now, on my canvas, i have my movie come about two inches off the bottom, and clear across the canvas. When i'm saving my movie, its like it saving the whole. Is there a way to "crop the canvas". sorry that sounds confusing.

    In flash, go under the menu's Modify > Movie Settings, here you can change the width and height of the actual movie.
