Thread: importing avi turned swf in to a new movie

    Hi,
    I have converted an avi file into swf using vid2swf, it has audio also in it.while importing the converted swf in to a new flash movie it simply closes the program saying
    "performed illegal operation".I dont know what to do.Can anyone help me out of this.

    flash mx doesn't support video importing from swf

    what does it mean?

    Does it mean that I cannot load an external movie with video in it ?

    you can import avi or mov

    video in swf will be ignored
