    Hi!

    Looking for effects, I put myself to make an exercise, with Clones
    The clones have worked to me well in the Preview and the Browser, but when I include in loading movie, they donít work.

    The routine does not execute arrays of any way, with accountants or within Cycles For or While.

    In this example I included the same routine that is developed automatically by
    percentage= Bytesloaded/TotaBytes*100.

    http://www.josephbrowndesigns.com/3d...ress_bar3.html

    And to see as worked manually makes the entrance of the percentage in edit box, to corroborate its operation and to ask for later overhaul to support

    It is a done bar of circular progress with clones. When it reaches the percentage that enters the growth of the bar stops.

    It has a cleaning function to prove different percentage

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Joseph

    Thanks
    I've found that the clones have many possible applications
    There is some way that they have properties?

    yes - you should examine the clones example in the Samples menu of the program.

    A clone is an exact copy of a regular element, so it has properties just like the others. However, in order to use those properties, you must have a handle to the actual clone.

    If you are making only 1 clone, this is easy - like this:

    original_element_handle = element("the_element_name")
    cloned_element = original_element_handle.clone()

    clone_element.position.x = whatever

    If you are using multiple clones, its a bit harder, because you must keep a handle to every clone you make. The easiest way to do this is to use an array to store the handles to the clones. Then you can refer to any clone by indexing the array.

    such as -

    clone_array[23].position.x = whatever

    I hope this helps a little

    Regards
