Thread: Russian language in flash

    Hi!

    Im useing Flash Mx and need to use russian language in flash, but when i copy&paste or try to type text it just shows weird sybols not the text i want to

    Maybe someone here knows a solution to this problem.

    Flash MX now supplies a preference for selecting a font for your action script editor. Select a Russian font. If that does not work, check the charMap of your russian font to conform Unicode.

    While in Flash 5, you can not do that.

    hi!

    you can use russian in flash with i think one serious exception: use device fonts in dynamic text fields are not likely to work if you are using non-russian windows and any mac (not sure OSX)

    simply select Arial Cyr (or another Russian font), switch keyboard to Cyrillic, start typing then paste your text. for dynamic text select [...]
