I'm using Tell Target to pull up an .swf file that's not in the current .fla that i'm working on...and i get it to come on fine and appear where i want and everything, but the .swf is playing REAL slow...any ideas to speed it up?? I've messed with the movie fps and that hasn't helped any. Many thanks -

    See friend..
the speed of any external swf loaded to a maintimeline takes the speed (fps) of that timeline.

what is the processor spd of the computer you are playing the swf on? if it has a lot of animation and shape tweens , etc. its going to play at a slower FPS than you anticipated on slower machines

    speed

it's 700 mhz, but it's fast enough for all other animations i've done...i did find one thing to do to -help- speed it up...i just copied the frames of my animation and pasted over and over until i had 1000 frames in my .fla file doing the loop manually i guess...rather than have flash just loop the 20 frame animation...if that makes sense...but it's still not the result i want.
