Thread: [Resolved] "Save Picture As..." in MX success!

I wanted to be able to invoke "Save Picture As..." within MX. Couldn't find many threads about it. Created it myself with idea and poor knowledge of JavaScript. It works in hidden frame set and IFRAME within one of the frames and image name as var passed via url. Tried to post it on flashkit movies but...Server error. Take a look <a href="http://www.galovic.com/testimg/">Here</a> or download <a href="http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Scripting/Javascript/Save_Pic-George_U-6926/index.shtml">Here</a>
Let me know what you think. Or if some better ways to do it.

    didn't work for me,
it saved an html file that didn't have a image in it,
and I tried forcing the suffix to .jpg and it didn't open as an image.

    really cool idea though!

<b>sonwah</b>, did you try it locally?<br> maybe the pictures didn't load... I tested it only on IE6 XP.(Forget about Netscape)<br>
Has to be something with variable -img- that's passed via URL from test2.htm to test3.htm

    thanks for good comments anyway

The other day, I bought a box of animal crackers. On the side, it said "Do Not Eat if Seal is Broken". I opened the box and sure enough...

dudovcic@qrex.com, can you reupload those downloads? I have a deadline of next Friday and have to do this - or explain to my boss why it can't be done.
