    ok, I am trying to make a music player for a website.

    The problem I'm having is that the movie is too large. I am using mp3's. I tried converting them to wav files, then compressing them with flash. Now the movie won't even show up on the webpage (yet it works when I 'test' it).

    I would like the player to just grab the songs from another location and then just stream them. I can't seem to figure out how to get that to work.

    I tried using this:

    mySound = new Sound();
    mySound.loadSound("http://mysite.com/song.mp3", true);

    and on the button:

    but it didn't seem to work.

    basically, I want to have a button, you push it, and it plays the song. You push the button again, or another button and it stops. If you push another button, it plays the song it's associated with.

    or, if I could attach the songs and keep the size of the movie down, that would work, too.

    I appreciate any help.

    streaming sounds

    a streaming file starts playing from mysound.loadsound().

    no need for start sound.
