importing scene from one FLA to another

how do you import scene from another FLA to another FLA?

is this possible? i dont want to import the swf version since i want to be able to edit the scene that is imported.

please help me out.

Have you not tried copying all frames then going to your other fla and pasting them in?

i've tried that. i tried selecting multiple layers using the layers panel on the left but it wont allow me to copy the copy button is disabled when you right click on the selected frame boxes. I tried drag-selecting the frames and it works but problem is when you paste it to the new fla's timeline the empty frames get filled in toward the end of the selection.

i also have a problem of repositioning the pasted items since the destination movie is bigger in size. How do i reposition the pasted items easily?
