Thread: Load Times & Frames

    Unhappy

Thanks for the advise on my last posting.
I have a flash movie placed on my site. The only problem is that it starts playing and then hangs up until 64% loaded, then runs fine. Is this where preloading comes in??
Also, I have noticed that many (if not all) Flash pages are in a framed HTML document. What is the reason for this?

Thanks again from the new kid on the block,
    Sam

yup, if your .swf file is large than 50k, it is good to put in a preloader because some viewer are still using a 14.4k modem

even a 14.4K modem only download 4k per second in some connection.

for the frame question, I can't remember the actual reason but it have something to do with the resizeable issue.
