try my link if you dont see an update

change in Internet exployer tools, internet options, under setting, and change from automatic to check every visit to page

    hmmmmm,
i think the prob depends on your webcam32 soft!
the only solution might be to insert a time out in my fla!
but then, the timeout and the upload must match!

    same problems

I just got back to the forum today. Thanks for all this help.

I am still having the problem of the image not refreshing. I do have a java page that is able to refresh just the image on a given interval. The page is below:

    http://www.candidcrafts.com/webcam/javawebcam.html

The image might not refresh because the camera may be off when you look at it. If you edit the page you will see what its doing. I didnt write this either but it does work in refreshing the image. Is there a way to use this code in flash to get it to refresh the image.

Here is the movie I disigned mine around:

    http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Basic...71/index.shtml

It has the same refreshing problem that we all seem to have. Symbionts, what is fundamentaly different with your movie over this one.

    Thumbs down

    so,

    i'd a glance at it...

it seemed to be nearly the same way!
excepting - i kill the dubbed clip after using it and set the pic as _root.
to prevent proxy i use the '?' and to bust-browser cache i used the millisec since 1970 (but this seems not to work correctly yet) this is the way of adservers.
    " and i use a mac "

i checked the stream viewing it with a proxy connection and cache on.

    everything worked perfect

    uuuh!

    there is something else!!!

i check if the pic is loaded and then, and only then it becomes root and after that it will be killed.

    just check my fla

if you know why the gettime doesnt work please post it here

    confusion

So are you saying that you do have it working or you still have problems? The last time i tried checking your cam it ate up my memory.

Have you made any changes to the fla since you uploaded it the first time?

    Thanks

    nope!

the only thing wich seems to work incorrectly is the gettime()

    cheers

It refreshes like 5-6 times then stops and goes white. Is it working from your end?

This whole thing is getting very frustrating!
