scrolling menu problems

I'm working on our internal website for my employer, and I'm having a problem with our scrolling flash menu viewable at http://imdctest.education.wisc.edu/imdc/ . The problem right now is that the menu will continue scrolling if you move out of the browser window to the immediate left or right of the menu, as the flash movie doesn't not seem to be able to recognize when the mouse has moved outside it. Any solution I've come up with don't account for the fact that the flash movie's width expands to meet that of the browser window, which unfortunately is a requirement for our site.

I don't think there is anything you can do. As long as your window is maximized there is no real problem.
