I made a swf with swift 3d v2 and emailed it to a friend of mine. He has the flash plugin because he can view my web page. But why can't he view swf files? Is there something I am missing?

did you e-mail the *.swf, or the *.t3d file?
also, did your friend open the *.swf file in Internet Explorer, and does your friend have, at least, the Flash 5 plugin?

swf
I emailed the swf as an attachment and I assume he opened it in outlook. He has the Flash 5 plugin because he can view my web page. Is there a plugin for email too?

Has he got flashmx installed?
I know my outlook crashes now if I have a swf sent to me since installing flashmx. Also, fp2k now fails to show the swfs embedded in my pages and reports an error - reaaaaally annoying! Have now crossed over from the dark side and use dreamweaver. Haaarrrummff

Have him save the .swf to his hard drive then drag and drop it from Windows Explorer into his browser. If he doesn't have Flash, then he probably doesn't have the standalone player, but I'm sure he has the Flash plugin for Netscape or ActiveX version for Internet Explorer.
