smooth play

correct me at any point:

I am making a 'slideshow' and am using flash because it can be stand-alone, and it runs on Mac and PC.

But I am having a bit of a gripe with it.
When I run the movie the first time, it's always slow (I presume loading) - is there a way of getting it to run smooth straight from the outset?

you need a preloader my friend. This allows everything to load before it starts to play. There are millions of tutorials out there for preloaders as they are so popular!!!
