How Do You ? I Can't explain it in the subject I just need the help of someone smart

Ok I'm going to try to explain this.

I have 3 buttons


submenu
books -----------
pens ! !
thngs !-----------!

these buttons bring up a submenu of what you have clicked on. in a submenu box

when you click on books, it targets a MC with a animation for the buttons in the submenu then the MC stops

when you click again it continues on the same MC time line with a animation to swipe the submenu buttons away.

Here is what I did for the MC frames

stop / stop / /
blank frame / animation -------------- / swipe----- /

Here is my problem when I click on books then click on (pens) I would like the swipe animation to play for the submenu. And the same for (things) and (books)

I have tried many diffent solutions and the only one that works is to not have the swipe when I click on another button.

If someone could clue me in on how to think about this ? thank
