    I might be able to come up with something if I knew what the problem was. I know it doesn't work and both the script & SWF are in the same frame, but I am not sure if the problem is Flash calling it or the JavaScript.

    That really doesn't help me because I can't debug it with HTML.

    cant you just view the source, and find out that way, like copy & paste.

    No, because if it works in a un-framed page, there seems to be nothing I can do... unless someone knows how to debug Flash over HTML/Frames.

    hey hey I got great news
    it worked
    the thing that was wrong was when I was viewing it on my harddrive, the html was viewing it of my host, and since i never update the files, i saw no changes.
    but I fix dat and it worked in the frames so its all good,
    your code at the start was right, it was just me.
