Hard days for Vecta 3D? Look!
    http://www.swift3d.com/

    Gradients? Yes!

    Cheap? Yes!

The site is really bad, but the tool looks great. No more hand filled gradients!

    Cool

I'm going to try to post some sample files made in Swift3D within this week. I'll post the link when they're ready.

FYI... Vecta3D has pushed back it's release date to include a gradient shader in the stand alone.

Even with the gradient shader, Vectra3D stand alone could use a hell of a lot of work. I wish they would have had a decent beta program. Very simple things that wouldn't have taken 30 seconds to program. So sad. But I'll use it for what it's worth.

I went and saw the Swift3D guys present at a session at FF2000 and they where very well received, their stand at the show has been really rocking!

Also presenting were www.swifftools.com and David from www.openswf.org showing SWiSH. I was totally impressed and can recommend that you download the trial versions from the Internet from both their sites.

Last time I saw the Pope, Eric and Mark they had a tonne of software under their arms and look forward to reading their reviews in the coming weeks.

Also sat in on the interview Pope and Mark did with Lynda from lynda.com, the live broadcast should be a real hoot!

    Regards, Steve
