beautifull example of actionscript, but how???

i'd like to know how you can change the color and grafics during the time. to know what i mean: a magnificent site is this: http://www.asbsales.be. at the bottom you see a little ball. try to move this and watch it. i don't have to know how that particular script is, but how you can define the 'motionguide' and change the color.
