Swish and ActionScript

Do any of you know whether the next version of swish will support Actionscript? Just imagine the possibilites!!!!!!Macromedia watch out!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think so. That's too far beyond for SWiSH yet. Drag and drop, however, is the best feature for the next version, SWiSH V2.5.

Next major update will have much more action-script support (but no dynamic text or input forms) .. similar to what you could do in Flash 4, but with some Flash 5 and MX features thrown in, and using Javascript syntax (but still using the Actions panel rather than free format text and still SWF 4 compatible .. so no object model stuff).

Even more planned for after that .. but that's another story

swish is great but i got a few questions.....
will the new version of swish feature either of the following:

3d drawing tools?
premade cursor files to that it only requires changing a picture to change the cursor in the flash file?
drag and drop?
premade preloaders (byte counters, loader bars etc)?
keyboard inputs?
clocks (date, day, year, time etc)?
detection (download speed, ip addy, time connected to site for etc)?
.mpg, .mov and .avi import?

that is all i can think of.

also do you have a provisional release date?

not meaning 2 pressurize you but i cant wait for the next release! ill go and dribble in private

Some of the things you're asking for aren't possible with SWF version 4 files. For example, you cannot change cursors.

next major update is likely to include:
* more drawing tools (but not 3d)
* drag and drop
* keyboard inputs
* timer
* detection (if you write script for it)
maybe premade preloader (possibly in a subsequent update).

buhuu no dynamic text/input , i hate to put aside my swish v2 and load up flash mx just make some dynamic txt/input fields :P , guess im stuck with macromedia when it comes for dynamic txt .
