How do i make this face? I know my way around in ohotoshop6 but i am NOT a guru or something, is it a filter? is an adjustment layer?

TO make this face you have to
1. be happy
2 smile as wide as you can with your mouth open
3. mess your hair up
4 scan picture into photoshop
5 turn it into grey scale
6 bump contrast up
(option) 7 then turn it into a bitmap for more effects

Or you can
repeat 1-4
5 turn into grey scale
6 play with threshold levels

i used the threshold! Works perfectly!! Thanx for the smiling tip, that was the thing I didn't do!!

I found more options! for those who are interested:

check out image/adjust/threshold and have some fun

can get much smoother edges, like vector artish, if you'll do a very wee bit of g-blur before the threshold maneuver

This is a bit more involved, but still pretty easy, and way flexible.

duplicate original
desaturate copy 1
duplicate copy 1
invert copy 2, change mode to color dodge
gaussian blur to taste.
( other filters can be interesting, too.)
