I am a graphic designer about to undertake a website for a medical company and ihave the option of creating a fully flash website for my client.

My question is will a flash-only website be shown in web search engines or not? I have heard that only html sites can be made to appear in search engines. Is this the case?

Any help on this question would be very much appreciated!

I think if you have your landing page as a html that redirects to your flash site, you could put the meta data in the landing page, you can also set the robot when to revisted etc, but if your site is very big, it's going to be difficult for pages inside your site to get listed..... I think this is probabl eone of the issues that Macromedia needs to sort out with what standerds there is for search engines, and if not, should it be done like html etc.... Maybe somebody from MAcromedia can tell us
