not necessarily, they assume you know what sport they're talking about with the innings one for a start (there are other sports with innings and outs), and the birthdays question could really be read either way round, especially since an assumption isn't precluded by the given answers.

I didn't get the birthday question. I got it right, very easy quesiton, but I didn't get what way you could read to get a wrong answer.

because the term birthday is used not only to refer to your actual birthdate but also to the occassion each year when that date rolls around. So it's not unfeasible for someone 20 years old to say that they have had 20 birthdays, if someone asked me that's what I would say.

while it's fairly obvious that they're trying to be smartasses and one is the answer it's not exactly a 'fact' either.
