    So this is the thing.

I have this presentation tommorrow, and I decided to use Flash to make the visuals.

But then, I don't know if the computer there would work well with it.

I plan on using a Flash Projector. Now I know that projectors are built to allow flash stuff to play on non-flash isntalled computers. But i just don't know how far it would comply with computers. (i'm most worried cause it's a mac (imac), and i'm using a PC.)

anyway. the presentation is in MX and has a sound byte in it.

am i safe on doing this?

pls help, i really need a yes or no, cause if you guys say know, i'd just go with boring old power point.

    thanks :P

For your projector to play back on a mac you need to publish it on a mac.
I know in the publish options you can select "mac projector"
but it doesn't work to my knowledge.
Other than that, sound, video, animation will work exactly the same on either platform.

exactly what I said, it doesn't work.
You will end up with a file that a mac can't run.
Don't know why, don't even know if it is the case anymore, but to my knowledge it doesn't work.
To be sure you need to publish your fla to a .hqx on a mac.
Or test it and prove me wrong. If it works can you post back here so others know?
    cheers.

mmm, well, once i test it, it'd be too late if it doesn't work.

i guess it's really my fault for procrastinating on testing it for like a week.

oh well, i'm still in trial and error.

    mac sux.

If you get your .swf to the mac, it'll run with FlashPlayer just like it does on your PC.
If you really need a projector, you can create it with the FlashPlayer on the Mac.

    see ya,

alternatively, mac ie comes with a pre-installed flash player 5, imacs come with pre-installed IE so u could just use an swf thats saved as flash 5
