The LA Lakers won, cause all other teams suck. They will win the title.

I HATE THE LAKERS SO MUCH! I HAVE NO RESPECT WHATSOEVER FOR ANYONE ON THAT TEAM EXCEPT FOR THE ROLE PLAYERS LIKE HORRY AND FOX. My serious angst towards the Lakers stemmed from the beating the 76ers (my team) took last season in the NBA Finals. As much as I hate the Nets, I hate the Lakers more so GO NETS!

Oh, and sorry for the continuing Use of CAPS James. Had to be done here for emphasis!

the kings - oh, the kings. they are a better team, but blew the game at the end. bibby was the only guy on the floor that looked like he even wanted to handle the ball. if webber wants to be the superstar we all want him to be, he's got to want the ball in a situation like that - he just looked scared!

i feel your pain - they beat my team the year before (pacers) - that was probably indiana's only shot to win the title....at least the sixers have done that!

Wasn't Bibby fun to watch this series. He has established himself as the leader of the Kings. Forget Webber. He blew it when the game was on the line. You can't argue with that. And as for Kobe, there is just something about him that I don't like and I never will. I am from Philly, so maybe that's the problem. I don't know. I just can't stand Kobe.

[edit]Chelle, Christie defined himself as a non-superstar yesterday. These guys who are the stars crave the last possession. They want it. They want the championship.

What about Stoyakovich airing the 3 at the end. and the horrific free throw shooting. My good lord. It was bad.[/edit]

Me thinks the lakers switched the ball with a giant orange rock, judging by all the air balls being thrown up by the Kings in OT!! I felt sorry for Bibby, he was carrying the team at the end.

and as for Kobe Bryant........a slow, painful paper cut.

peja, i suppose i can understand since he was out for most of the playoffs... but then again, an air ball???

if these guys had doubts they shoulda passed the ball around! they had plenty of time

The lakers are the most boring team to watch in the NBA, they rely to heavily on key players (Kobe and Shaq) the kings on the other hand have great players all round.

I THINK THIS IS MY 100th POST!

I also especially like when they were interviewing Bibby right after the game, Kobe Bryant was standing right behind him WAITING to be interviewed!! As if every stupid commercial with him in it isn't enough, I have to look over Bibby's shoulder as he's explaining to the world why he was the only one who could hit the rim and see Kobe Bryant's face. GAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

would have been really nice if during that interview bibby went to stretch or something and smashed kobe in the face with an elbow.

oh, and then tell him he didn't do it on purpose. bleh!

kobe telling the camera man he has respect for bibby. well, that didn't stop him from almost breaking his nose the game before

I control the refs with Shaq. HAHA! Chelle, agreed. Christie was a giant disappointment. Gurdas, the bump on Rahman's head was the most nasty thing I have EVER seen in sports. Bar none. I have seen some heinous injuries, but that took the cake. I swear he would've died if they kept fighting. That's why I don't understand that the doctors were so careless about it. THAT THING WAS GROSS!

Rahman was on the morning show i always listen to today. He sounded pretty good, cheery even. I was glad to hear he is OK.

That fight was horrible though. He said he wants a rematch. I hope he gets one, but at this point I doubt I'll be watching! *shudder*
