The next two games are in NJ, so they would have to throw both games, and only be up 3-2...not gonna happen. Also, I'm seeing a lot of Kobe-hating in this thread...I am personally a Knicks fan, not an LA lover, but you have to respect him...he was ridiculous in the fourth quarter last night, turning it up Jordan-style. Not many players in the league can take control of a game like he did last night.

Lakers won again!! Dang, I guess you can't stop a team thats better than all the others. Kobe and Shaq combined for 71 points in last nights win 106-103 over the Nets. Shaq had 37!! I don't think the Nets can do anything against him.

All they need is to win Wednesday and they do it for threeeeeee times in a row.

ok i respect kobe very much and hes not a big trash talker like the rest of the team but the ONE thing kobe lacks is hes not a leader.

look at the lakers when shaq is out and kobe is in they consistently lose.
look at the lakers when kobe is out and shaq is in they consistently win.

so i think kobe should take a page outa the books of JKidd, TMac,Duncan,Shaq, and Iverson(yes hes the leader without him the sixers would be more like the bulls)

Now how about this new kid on the block Lebron James have you guys heard anything of him.
Hes got some kobe like skills but hes stronger then kobe wus at his age (junior in highschool 17years old) hes bein called the best high school player in the nation i mean common where i live kids can barely dunk the ball this kid is pullen off under the leg wrap around dunks and crap i mean its unbalevable hes got skills. Lets hope he can come out and dominate more then kobe u know be more of a TMac.

basically, i hate his attitude on the court, he creeps me out and he is just thoroughly gross. he also always plays creeps in movies. and on tv. not that that's a testament to his character, but he gives me the creeps. i do not know what in the hell vanessa williams was thinking. oh and his silly sketchers ads get on my nerves too.

why he has to be such a jacka$$ on the court eludes me. i mean, ick.

all that said, the man has been playing pretty darn well and i will give him credit for that.

Well the Lakers have done it, clean sweep of the finals and 3 titles in a row. Same old story again with Shaq too dominant, his third straight finals MVP award. 9th championship for Phil Jackson as a coach now too.
