Im working on a Mac, with Flash 5.

My original post on this yielded few answers.

I did post this on one other board, having forgotten about this specific Mac one, so please forgive !

    ---

Being on a mac, I can't right click. I did, instead, click on the smartclip and then selected:
Window > Panels > Clip Parameters.

For some reason, I get a tab saying "Clip Parameters" with just a blank expanse of grey below it. I believe there should be variables I can change.

Why would that be and what can I do?! I want to modify the .fla and cant?!

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have been looking at this movie:

    http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Effec...7081/index.php

    What puzzles me is:

Watch as each letter flies around eventually forming whatever word you want!! Just modify the SmartClip's clip parameters!!

Call me stupid but I have opened the Clip parameters panel but I am not sure how to bring up the settings that allow me to alter the final word and/or typeface

Must I select something in a particular order?! Can someone "stupid talk" me through it.

I am sure it is simple but I just cant see it.

Just bring up the clip parameters box then click on the text on the screen (theres 2 lots er for the bottom line). If you then change what's in the value box in the clip parameters window you're sorted...

It took ages, but I finally figured that out.

I had been clicking in the library, not the screen.

    Too little sleep, I guess.
