I'm thinking this may fit in another forum but anyway I'll post it here.

I want to know what you think the best reading font is. I have a few articles I want to post on my website but their kind of long, so I am looking for a font that won't make the readers eyes bleed, brain swell, etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Technically a serif font like Times is the easiest to read because the serifs create larger distinctions in the characters shape-

    However,

I also prefer the Arial, Verdana, Helvetica group

    not entirely true for screen
I have read a couple of studies recently which said that for screen based text, particularly smaller text, that sans serif fonts were more readable...
I suppose that I should back this up with a link, but I can't be bothered at the mo' maybe later?

of course for the best, most readable font... sticking with Arial, Verdana, Helvetica is pretty safe.
I also like century gothic, but that may just be me...

For screen fonts, sans serifs are the best to use, as there are less curves and SVG-like vectors and more straight, thinner stocks.
But for nice, crisp text in graphics I'd have to say ITC Garamond takes the cake. Smooth, clean, and extremely easy to use. The best by far.

Impact has to work as the best sans I've used though.

    Angry

hi do you want to start a flash animation cartoon series ?

please i begg of you .. please.. it will be good and simple so episodes can come out with no problem -
    my aim- odmac5

    -- my idea--

    its pritty simple , a comedy/action/violance kinda cartoon ...

something with all cultures and races and religions and stuff..
something that everyone to enjoy .. not to much technical stuff just a quick simple caracter based story with a good layout .. plot and setting ..

not to much involved , just kept simple so episodes can come out every so offten and people can give critisism on it ..
