Thread: Making a game for my website

  1. #1

    Question

    Hello everyone,

I am using Swish and would like to know how to make a "targetsight" as my cursor, so people can shoot things in my game.

If you have any ideas, or you know how to do this, then please reply, or email me: neil@the-runway.co.uk

    Thanks!

    Neil.

    Um....

Blainus's website has a cursor sample, but this isn't the Swish forum, so it may not work. Anyway, the site is at http://deadyeti.com/blanius/

Sorry 'bout that, he used to have a cursor sample up there.

You may want to try the swish help forum at http://board.flashkit.com/board/foru...php?forumid=17 and not the 3DFA forum, because 3DFA isn't related to swish.

If however, you use 3DFA, check out http://deadyeti.com/into3dfa/customCursor.html for the tutorial I talked about.

Can't help you with swish(I tried it once, and found it very limiting), with 3dfa though it's an extremely simple process. Just create your sight(whether an animation, or a still image), and set its x position to mouse x and its y position to mouse y.

Hmmm.. yeahhhh, perhaps the SWISH forum is a better place for help on our competitor's product.

mind you - 3DFA could do it a lot better. cmon over to our side, and make some real movies...

Yeah, 3DFA's easier. Go to insanetools.com to visit the web site.
