when i view quicktime move... why some movies can show the preloading early while others need to download the whole 100% movie so that it can be viewed??
it is the matter of plugin setting? or it can be set while making the quicktime movie?

I haven't embedded quicktime movies in Flash yet - but I have in HTML. I've used a product called Media Cleaner Pro to do the compression. MCP allows you do choose different compression techniques depending on what you want (streaming, no streaming etc.) Quicktime supports loads of compression techniques. There is a sreaming option that requires no special hosting, and also one that utilises quicktime server software that runs with MacOS X Server - but I never used this.
