    Hi there!

    I wonder if there is a way to "plot" or draw a solid circle
    with a function using a specific origine (o), a radius (r)
    and an angle that goes from 0 to 360 degrees.

    Thanks a lot for all your answers!

    Here's some code to draw a cricle

    Code:
    _root.createEmptyMovieClip( "circle", 1 );
    with ( _root.circle )
    {
    	lineStyle( 0, 0x0000FF, 100 );
    	beginFill( 0xFF0000 );
    	moveTo( 500, 500 );
    	curveTo( 600, 500, 600, 400 );
    	curveTo( 600, 300, 500, 300 );
    	curveTo( 400, 300, 400, 400 );
    	curveTo( 400, 500, 500, 500 );
    	endFill();
    }
    Have a look into each of those functions to see the part they play

    Thanks a lot for your answer Chi-Styler!

    It works ok! But I just want to draw a SOLID circle gradually using
    ActionScript in Flash MX or 5 in a way that a circle will be drawn
    gradually as the radius (a solid line) rotates 360 degrees.

    Thanks for your answers

    Got something......

    Please check out june 23rd on my homepage. Each segment is drawn in turn, if you slow this down I believe you can get the effect you want.

    I'm curious if this file is processor intensive, It only redraws when a slider moves, eh?

    say the word and I'll post the fla as a reply- hey it includes my brand new exponential slider! (oh big deal)

    this skips the stupid splash page:
