Just started working with the making Flash Stuff 508 compliant for a government client of ours, and I had a couple of quick questions.

I was wondering if there was anyway to see what the screenreader would pick up? I have made numerous items in the movie accessable, but I want to know how a screen reader will interpret and read off the descriptions. I do not have a screen reader on my machine to test it. I can see the html that is generated, but I am still curious to know what order the screenreader will pick up certain accessable items in a movie.

Also, has anyone had experience working with 508 compliance for Red/Green Color blindness? I'm not sure what colors are safe are what colors are not.

    Thanks,

    Don

    Accessable for Disabled People

This is a government standard now that tries to make the web accessable to people with disabilities.

Before Flash MX, there was really no way to make a flash movie accessable to things like screen readers. With Flash MX, you can make anything in your movie accessable.
