    Hello fellows.
    I need to use pictures with alpha fades, and saving them as png really makes it happend. But the file size gets huge comparing to jpg. Is there any tricks to decrease the file size without messing up the quality too much? Im using photoshop7.

    Yes.. make your images in photoshop with a transparent bg, then instead of importing, just copy and paste directly to flash

    I just import the PNG into Flash. Right click the icon in the library ->properties. THen set the export to jpg and set the compression there.

    megatoon--> Yeah, I noticed, and felt very stupid. I thought that the transparent parts would become white or something if I had it as jpg...but no! Hehe, cooolnes
