I want a preloader to display for 20 seconds reguardless of how fast the movie is loaded. How would I keep the preloader looping for 20 seconds on a fast movie yet keep the preloader running if a longer movie is loading?

Why wait 20 seconds if you can load the movie in 2? That is dumb....making a user wait longer for nothing.

    Reason

I wish to display a warning message while the preloader is running.

I want one generic preloader I can use with both small and large movies. Therefore when I use the preloader on a smaller movie it will load to fast for users to read the message. However, while the message is displayed I want the preloader at the bottom to display loading messages.

I agree with Viper, however for the sake of argument, why not just have a regular preloader that when finished, stops at frame 2, thus displaying the message, with a button to continue the movie
