    hello every body ,
    i need to make a button in my movie that open another swf but in a new window, can anybody tell me if it can be done or not and how??

    yep, just use a javacsript commandline window.open and put your swf's name in the url

    getURL("movie.swf",_blank);

    First, make a html page with your SWF file in it.

    ++ Add to name.html page in the head section ++

    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript">
    function newWindow(url,name,features){
    var newWin = window.open(url,name,features);
    }
    </script>


    Then make your button back in Flash andů

    ++ Flash Script ++ Add this to your button


    on (release) {
    getURL ("javascript:newWindow('name.html','newWin','width =600,height=800,toolbar=0,menubar=0,location=0,scr ollbars=0,resizable=1')");
    }

    Set the values as required.
